CASIO’S PRO TREK WSD-F30 IS RUGGED AND READY FOR OUTDOORS
Details of Casio's new Wear OS smartwatch are emerging, narrower and thinner than its predecessor.
The dual layer 1.2-inch dual layer display features a monochrome LCD for time, and outdoorsy stuff like altitude and atmospheric pressure. Meanwhile, a 390x290 colour OLED display takes over for Wear OS duties.
Battery life has been tweaked for up to 3 days runtime in the new Extend Mode, which disables WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Being rugged, it will handle outdoors abuse including water submersion, and comes in blue, black or orange.
Australian pricing and availability have not yet been confirmed, but it will be available late 2019/19 and is expected to sell for USD $549.
