JBL’s new adventure loving Bluetooth Speaker range delivers portable music wirelessly, wet or dry and in multiple eye-catching colours.

The company's Californian beach heritage has undoubtedly influenced this three strong new Bluetooth Speaker Range, which is perfectly suited for the Surfing Safari lifestyle. From the small but powerful Go 2, to the Grab and Go Clip 3 to the chunky bottle opener toting Xtreme 2, all promise long battery life, are waterproof, can be used as speakerphones and claim rich, powerful sound. All, of course, can be streamed to and controlled wirelessly from your Bluetooth device of choice.

The two smaller models are great value at $49.99 and $79.95 and will fit into any travel or beach bag. The bigger Xtreme 2 at $349.95 will have to go some way to justify that price, but it claims to be fully waterproof, pretty tough and go very loud, so maybe this is the ultimate beach party speaker. All three dumb or 'non-Smart' speakers with no Alexa or Google Assistant so thankfully no shouting on the beach. We wouldn't really expect the two cheaper models to have this functionality, but the Xtreme 2 is priced in an area of hot and smart competition, not the least from JBL's own Link voice-activated range.

Marcus Fry, Brand Activation Director of AUNZ at HARMAN told GadgetNET:

Our Bluetooth range of speakers keep getting better and better, all for the same price. Fashion colours, durability, portability and JBL sound make this new range the perfect music companion, no matter the activity.

JBL Go 2: Grab & Go RRP $49.95
The Go 2 is a small and neat, yet fully-featured waterproof Bluetooth speaker. With a new IPX7 waterproof design, owners can stream music via Bluetooth for up to 5 hours of sound at the poolside or the beach. The compact design comes in 5 eye-catching colours and can also be used as a speakerphone.

JBL Clip 3: Clip & Play RRP $79.95
JBL's Clip 3 is an ultra-portable, ultra-rugged and waterproof Bluetooth speaker that is small in size, but big in sound. The durable and integrated carabiner clips to clothes, belt loop or backpack, making the Clip 3 the perfect outdoor companion. The Clip 3 is IPX7 waterproof and offers 10 hours of playtime, powered by a 100mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, and has a built-in noise and echo-cancelling speakerphone.

JBL Xtreme 2: Unleash Powerful Sound Everywhere RRP $349.95
JBL's Xtreme 2 is a heavyweight portable Bluetooth speaker that delivers dynamic stereo sound. The speaker is armed with four drivers, two JBL Bass Radiators, and a rechargeable 10,000mAh Li-ion battery with 15 hours of playtime. On top of these, the speaker has a USB phone charge socket and is IPX7 rated, featuring a waterproof design with rugged fabric. Together with JBL Connect+, it can wirelessly link more than 100x JBL Connect+ enabled speakers. With a bottle opener on the carrying strap, it has to be the beach party machine.
